It's Two-Fer Tuesday...
And now for something completely different... violinist Jerry Goodman was later a member of the Mahavishnu Orchestra and the Dixie Dregs, both of whom I saw play live. Goodman played a blue violin when I saw him. That's why they call it rock 'n' roll.
There is considerable noodling before they get down to it...
Nice outfit, Jerry.
I see The Flock and I raise you
As you know, I'm an It's A Beautiful Day fan, too. What a gas it was to play some violin tunes when you're 16 or so and confuse your poor, long-suffering mother.
I hope you learned some of these SOLOs for violin

Old School R&B pop:
My daughter (who was 7 and a Michael Jackson fan in 1983) sent me this link saying "Look Dad! Now this is what fashion shold be!" Good song though...
I also like the Green Day cover of that song.
HA, that's Carls old Record Club....video
Bonus points if you can ID the singer without cheating...
I didn't see this show but I did see them in San Francisco in 1980. Great live band.
My files are messy from those days... so I had to cheat on the Alpha Band. The mind is alert but the body forgets.
