I had this album playing in my office. Our newest engineer is a young man from Pakistan who heard it and said, "Wow, this is a very progressive company." :)

Great stuff David, and I suspect you alone keep the "progressive quotient" high in your office. :D

I'm a sucker for threads like this so will play along if that's OK. Here's one from a different era that I have watched about 15 times because I'm so impressed with how many gears these guys find in this song. It starts out strong and really kicks in at the 5 min mark. Watch someplace you can crank it...

Sorry, the video versions were not very well recorded. This one had the best audio and from what I can tell, the original band members.

One of my favorites from the band. Too bad they did not tour.

    Jasn,

Thanks for the Funk. That is by far my favorite song by them.

When Farner gets into the zone he is awe inspiring and Brewer/Schacher were one of the tightest rythmn sections of the period.

Wow. I never knew video of this tune existed. I will watch it many times.

That half-breed Cherokee boy sure can strum his fiddle. :)

Speaking of awe-inspiring, how about Mato Nanji:

I remember getting turned on to them in the AF by guys coming back from the UK. They were unknown over here in the 70's.

Thx for the Mato. I must keep an eye out for him should he pass this way...
