    As the title says;

    The old DF bin;

    Yup, it says Trash on it and it's falling apart for the second time.

    Good design though, the collar secures a trash bag which I dumped the food into along with the scoop. But the new one is even better;

    The whole dog food bag fits in perfectly on the diagonal. The collar and lid are easily removed and the bag inserted into the bin top snipped off and the remains of the old bag poured in on top. No more having to scrape up the remains before dumping in a new sack and no more stale food at the bottom.

    Looks great! What did you finish it in to protect it from the weather?

    Paint & varnish. It's inside the house so it doesn't get any weather.
