Just what the NFL needed, a competitive game with lots of offense and the Pats lose. I didn't even fall asleep.

Congratulations to the Eagles, to Foles, and to Trey Burton. Burton's TD pass gave many Gators a reason to feel proud for a moment, something that hasn't happened much recently.

I was watching the game surrounded by my family (mom, dad, sister, a couple of cousins, my grandmom, an aunt, my wife and kids) and we're all huge Eagles fans. That was the most fun I've ever had watching the Super Bowl and possibly any football game, ever.

Can't wait for the Parade! I went when the Phillies won it in '08 and that's going to be tiny compared to the Eagles winning it all.

Foles have done an admirable job - came in as a back up but have proven himself to be good enough to be a starter.

Having said that had it not for the two gift TD's it was clearly NE's game. Nevertheless, 'Grats to the Eagles.

    "Gift TDs?"

    Please.
The first one was close but there wasn't enough to call it incomplete (the third foot didn't count, he had possession before that third foot hit the line and there's an argument that his foot hit outside of the line and slid into it, which would still be complete.) If it was called an incomplete it probably wouldn't be overturned, but it was called complete so it also couldn't be overturned. Not enough evidence either way.

The Ertz on he took three steps and dove all with possession of the ball, all football moves. He's a runner at that point. Cris Collingsworth has to be the only person in the world that thought they should overturn that one. if I was as wrong in my job as Collingsworth is every time he opens his mouth, I'd be fired. And I work for myself.

I didn't watch the game but if there were any "gift TDs" it would be the first time all year that they were not gifts to the Patriots (i.e.: Goodell's Team)

Parenthetical comment aside ;) , I've been feeling like the Pats have been playing with House Money for a good run.

Enjoy your trophy and off season Eagles fans.

"gifts to the Patriots (i.e.: Goodell's Team)".....oh snap.;)

    Good game....
didn't have a dog in this fight.
like many annoyed at past NE exploits
    and NFL shenanigans

Next hoping for the Browns and the Broncos
meeting up in Atlanta @ Mercedes Benz Stadium.

Altho The Falcons just may get more motivated for
    a Killer Home Team advantage.

I didn't watch the game, but I did see some replays of Ertz's catch and IMO it was clearly a TD.

Apparently there was a Justin Timberlake concert and a football game broke out. Eagles just played a better game than the Pat's who thought they had it in the bag. Not good day in the office today.

    Great Superbowl!

Guacamole and chips, veggie plate, a big artichoke, beer, wine, rum & cokes, gin & tonics and Michelada!

Ended with lobster rolls - :)

Yeah, Kelly likes to party small.

We got invited to a party, but she wanted to party small with just us and the dogs.

Invite was from same friend that we partied New Years with, so we'll catch her next time - :)

IPA, chili, cornbread, chips, cheese, crackers, more chips, artichoke dip, guac, salsa, tiny pigs in the blanket, shredded BBQ chicken sammiches with coleslaw, Palomas, cookies, pound cake, more cookies. Yeah, good game.

I enjoyed the game. Maureen is from MA, and she and her family are all Pats fans. Belichick and Brady annoy me. The Eagles and my disappointing Giants are long-time rivals, but I'm happy they won. We watched a neighbor's and I made a giant spaghetti stuffed meatball, swimming in my mom's recipe gravy (translation: spaghetti sauce.) They had tasty wings and lots of IPAs.
